TDP MPs Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, K. Appalanaidu, Byreddy Sabari and Sana Satish strongly condemned YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu’s outbursts on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and asserted that the State government was in no mood to tolerate politics of hatred and intimidation.
Addressing the media in New Delhi on Sunday, Mr. Krishna Devarayalu said Mr. Rambabu’s disgraceful comments on the Chief Minister represent a shocking new low in Andhra Pradesh politics. Mr. Rambabu’s utterances amounted to a direct assault on democratic values, public decency and civilised political discourse.
The MPs demanded that Mr. Rambabu tendered an unconditional apology, saying that the YSRCP institutionalised a culture of slander and moral bankruptcy.
