The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Business Advisory Committee (BAC) on Monday (August 17, 2026) informed that the Assembly session will be conducted for four days, till August 20.

The meeting, chaired by Assembly Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu, was attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Ministers Payyavula Keshav and Nadendla Manohar, BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju and Government Chief Whip G.V. Anjaneyulu, among others.

The BAC decided to take up a discussion on BC reservations in local body elections on Tuesday (August 18). The issue of alleged irregularities in the APPSC Group-I examination is scheduled for Wednesday (August 19).

The committee also decided to introduce nine ordinances in the form of Bills during the session. The Assembly will function with a working lunch, irrespective of the time required to complete the scheduled business.

The BAC primarily discussed the conduct and scheduling of the Assembly proceedings before formally finalising the four-day session up to August 20.
