Two employees of Osmania University were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday (April 1) for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹13,000 to process pension-related paperwork.

The accused, identified as K. Ramesh, a junior assistant in the Pay Bill Section, was apprehended while accepting ₹13,000 from a complainant. The amount was taken both for himself and on behalf of a senior assistant, Aravind, in return for facilitating the submission and processing of the complainant’s mother’s pension benefits file.
