The Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) has launched Suraksha Rath — a unique mobile safety awareness initiative designed to take safety training and messaging beyond classrooms and directly to employees, contractors, and work locations across the port.
Speaking after the launch of the safety vehicle, AKPL chief executive officer (CEO) Jagdish Patel said, “Safety is not just a priority but a way of life. Suraksha Rath is a unique safety awareness initiative designed to take safety messages directly through audio and video visuals to the staff and contractors.”
The Suraksha Rath will travel to various work locations within the port premises and engage people on safety protocols, rules, and regulations. It will also be used to spread effective safety awareness in nearby communities.
Through engaging demonstrations, audio-visual sessions, interactive activities, and practical safety guidance, Suraksha Rath aims to reinforce safe work practices, heighten hazard awareness, and promote personal responsibility towards safety.
