
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
A high-level delegation of the Andhra Pradesh Government, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, is leaving for Switzerland on January 18 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) commencing at Davos-Klosters on January 19.
A packed itinerary awaits the Chief Minister and his entourage from the moment they land in Zurich on Monday morning, starting with meetings with the Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Midhul Kumar, and a host of the dignitaries, which will be followed by an address to the Telugu diaspora.
Mr. Naidu will then proceed to Davos, where he is scheduled to first meet Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy. He will then have an interaction with Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran. IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh will be present.
On the second day, Mr. Naidu will participate in a CII breakfast session titled, ‘India at the Centre of Geography Growth- The AP Advantage’, havemeetings with Arvind Krishna (Chairman & CEO, IBM) and Thomas Kurian (CEO, Google Cloud), and participate in a panel discussion on ‘One Family – One Entrepreneur’ at the AP Lounge and give special interviews to international media outlets such as CNBC International and Politico.
Further, Mr. Naidu will have meetings with World Intellectual Property Organization Director Daren Tang, Swiss Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Helene Budliger Arteda, and Israeli Minister of Economy Nir Barka, and Sajjan Jindal of JSW Group and Vincent Clerc (CEO, Maersk).
On the third day, the Chief Minister will be a keynote speaker at a Bloomberg session titled, ‘Trillions of Dollars AI Movement Transforming Global Economy’.
He will attend discussions on ‘Healing the Planet through Regenerative Food Systems’ and finance-related sessions on climate change. Along with Union Ministers, Mr. Naidu will participate in the ‘Building India Infrastructure’ programme at the AP Lounge.
