Annamayya Collector calls for transparency, efficiency in registration services

District Collector Nishanth Kumar on Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of the Sub-Registrar office at Rayachoti in Annamayya district, underlining the importance of transparency and timely delivery of registration services to public.

During the inspection, the Collector verified details of staff on duty, number of people who had come for registration, registrations completed on that day, and slot booking status from Sub-Registrar. He instructed officials to provide assistance to the public so that they do not face difficulty during registration process.

The Collector also interacted with the public and enquired about their slot timings and registration procedures, and sought their feedback on quality of services rendered.

Mr. Nishant Kumar further examined various records and verified the processes being followed for registrations. He checked details of completed registrations and spoke over phone to some persons who had completed their registrations to elicit their opinion about services, staff response and difficulties faced. The Collector directed continuous supervision of office maintenance, safety, preservation of records and citizen services to improve public satisfaction levels.
