Aavin has dismissed recent complaints and reports that consumers were unable to purchase milk following the rollout of a new mobile application system, stating that supply remains uninterrupted and adequate.
In a statement issued in response to concerns on April 8, 2026 (Wednesday), General Manager R. Shanmugam said that a software system and mobile application had been in place since January 1, 2025, enabling agents to place demand orders online and facilitating distribution. The issuance of milk cards to consumers was also shifted online to streamline supply.
