A 46-year-old Armed Reserve constable, N. Kannaiah, died on the spot reportedly from a cardiac arrest while on duty at the West Godavari District Collector’s camp office at Pedda Amiravam village of Kalla mandal on Tuesday. He is survived by his wife and two children.
According to an official release issued by the West Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi, Mr. Kannaiah died on the spot due to cardiac arrest at around 2 a.m. The body has been shifted to Bhimavaran area hospital for post-mortem. The West Godavari District Police Association offered condolences to his wife and children.
