Assembly conducted business for 15 hrs amid Opposition boycott: Speaker

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Monday (March 30, 2026) said that during the budget session, the House conducted business for 15 hours and 16 minutes amid the Opposition boycott. 

“No CAG report pending for the first time and the Assembly has restored the financial scrutiny cycle,” the Speaker said. Mr. Gupta also said that it is a matter of concern that the Opposition has displayed a “completely negative” approach during this session.
