Badvel-Nellore stretch of NH 67 likely to finish in next three years, says NHAI official

After a prolonged delay in clearing all bottlenecks, the construction of National Highway 67 (previously NH 63) connecting Badvel in Kadapa district with Krishnapatnam Port road in SPSR Nellore district, is likely to complete within the next three years, said an official of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Already, the four-laning and six-laning works of the NH 67 project, which starts at Ramnagar in Belagavi, have been completed in many parts of Karnataka. However, the four-laning works between Badvel and Nellore stretch in Andhra Pradesh were delayed due to pending wildlife clearance and disbursement of compensation to farmers.
