BAI Tiruchi holds Build Rock 2025 exhibition

Home owners and those hoping to build a house in the near future can explore various options for interiors and infrastructure at the ‘Build Rock 2025’ exhibition that was launched by the Tiruchi centre of the Builders’ Association of India (BAI) on Friday.

The three-day trade exhibition, which brings over 120 exhibitors under one roof, was inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Affairs K.N. Nehru on Friday. A. Nazrudeen, chairman, BAI Tiruchi, and K. Kumaran, chairman, Build Rock 2025, were present.

For the first time this year, the exhibition features vendors who help clear doubts about site approvals, soil testing, and building plan execution.

“The demand for home improvements and new residential buildings has gone up steadily in Tier-II cities such as Tiruchi in the post-pandemic years. Customers need to be aware of their real estate investments and understand the legal nitty-gritty of home ownership. This is why we have added stalls that advise members of the public on related subjects,” Mr. Nazrudeen told The Hindu.

Visitors to the exhibition can get to see a wide variety of home décor options such as power-saving ceiling fans, automation systems for rooms, tiling, and sliding doors. “Our exhibition has been designed around the theme ‘One Stop Destination for Your Dream House’, so besides innovative products and building materials for brand new constructions, we have vendors specialising in improving the structural safety of existing buildings,” said Mr. Kumaran.

Build Rock 2025 is held at Kalaignar Arivalayam from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is scheduled to end on December 28.
