The Kannur Town police have registered a case after a bar hotel employee was found dead inside the premises on Saturday morning (November 22). The deceased, Ragith, 29, a resident of Dharmasala near Kannur University, was found hanging in the store room on the first floor of the bar hotel on Thavakara road.
The police were alerted immediately by the bar’s management, following which a team reached the spot and conducted an inquest. The body was later moved to the Kannur District Hospital mortuary.
Ragith is survived by his siblings. The police said they were awaiting the post-mortem report.
