The Belagavi Zilla Panchayat will take steps to strengthen Yoga and AYUSH practices in all government, private and aided schools in the district.
ZP CEO Rahul Shindhe has instructed district AYUSH officers and taluk level officers to strengthen these practices by providing yoga training to physical education teachers, giving demonstrations of simple yoga asanas and introducing AYUSH herbs to schoolchildren.
