The Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA) will hold its fifth convention in Belagavi on Saturday, with the theme ‘Engineering the Future — AI. DeepTech. Security’.
Deepak Shapeti, co-founder and CEO of Morphing Machines, will deliver the keynote address.
The event will be held at the Belgaum Foundry Cluster at 4 p.m. Those interested can register at www. betca.org.
Resource persons will speak at different sessions. The first one will be on Cybersecurity, and is titled ‘Beyond the Firewall: How Modern Cyber Attacks Are Detected, Traced and Stopped’.
The panel features Saleem Landur, a mobile metadata and digital forensics expert; Hitesh Dharmdasani, founder and CEO of NetSense CyberSecurity; and Swapneel Patnekar, who works in cybersecurity and cyber-threat intelligence. The discussion will be moderated by Aadil Bandukwala, V-P, Content Studio at HackerRank.
The session on `How an idea becomes a product’ will feature Murali Srinivasa, Deepak Shapeti, and Tulasidas Salunkhe, and will be moderated by Sandeep Patil.
The third panel will be on Building Belagavi – The Startup Story. It will feature Mehmood Athani (content creator), Swathi Gururaj Kulkarni (entrepreneur, Funda Hudugi) and Ian Nazareth (founder, The Foundry Podcast), and will be moderated by Mili Mishra, co-founder of Bumshum.
Reetam D., Growth Strategist and Revenue Architect, will conduct a masterclass titled: ‘How well do you really know your competition – and are you turning that intelligence into revenue?’
During the event, some products are set to be launched, and visits to IT companies and product manufacturers will be conducted.
