Ahead of leaving for Delhi on Saturday evening (May 2, 2026), Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary met his predecessor and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar for about half an hour at his new official residence, fueling speculation about the possible impending Cabinet expansion.
Mr. Choudhary’s Cabinet expansion is likely to take place on May 6, after the results of the four State Assembly elections are announced on May 4.
