A young man died after a kite ‘manja’ (thread) slit his throat in Belagavi on October 1.
Dhruva Santosh Karjagi (19) was driving his bike from the city centre towards his home in Mahantesh Nagar. The abrasive string of a kite got entangled around his neck while he was riding over the National Highway bridge in the Gandhi Nagar area.
