Karnataka State Bioenergy Development Board Chairperson S.E. Sudheendra met the Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru Urban District on February 3 and discussed the handing over of two acres of land, which was allotted by the government of Karnataka in 2013.
The board was allotted two acres in Survey No. 21 of Hosahalli village in Jala hobli of Bengaluru North taluk. But, the land is yet to be handed over to the board, which is what the Chairperson discussed with the Deputy Commissioner.
The Chairperson briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the bioenergy programmes being implemented by the board in Karnataka. The DC promised that action will be initiated immediately to allot 2-5 acres of land to the board, according to the board.
