Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) national president M.K. Faizy said that the BJP-led Union government was a heavily failed administration.
Speaking to reporters here after chairing a State-level party meeting here on Saturday, he added that the Union government had previously faced setbacks within Parliament and is now confronting public disapproval over issues such as the leakage of NEET examination question papers.
He stated that this has impacted citizens across all communities, including Hindus.
“Although the BJP came to power promising to safeguard the Hindu population, the grim reality today is that Hindus are being harmed by the party’s actions,” he stated.
He added that the theft at the Ayodhya Ram Temple served as a major illustration of this failure.
Above all, the youth have waged a major protest against the Union government. As a fallout, Dharmendra Pradhan, who was a Union Minister, has stepped down.
“He had been in the office for 12 years. He has fallen as the first wicket. If this continues as it is, a situation will come in 2029 where all wickets of the BJP will fall and they will lose,” Mr. Faizy noted.
Currently, the SDPI party plays a major role in the protests being conducted nationwide against the Union government, he observed.
“In Tamil Nadu, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader and Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has started a party and even formed the government,” he said.
But, in Kerala, though everyone enjoys watching Mr. Vijay’s films and he has a lot of fans there, that alone will not work out in politics, he remarked.
“The people of Kerala are capable of separating cinema and politics. They will think and decide whom to vote for,” he added.
SDPI State president Nellai Mubarak among others were present during the event.
