BJP, TDP celebrate PM Modi’s birthday

A blood donation camp was organized at the Bharatiya Janata Party office under the leadership of East Constituency In-charge Komara Raviraj to mark the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Inaugurating the camp, BJP Visakhapatnam District president Parashurama Raju said that various programs are being conducted across the state in response to the call given by State President P.V.N. Madhav. He noted that Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrations were held in all wards of Visakhapatnam in the morning and added that there is a state-wide target to collect approximately 25,000 units of blood through organized donation camps.

Meanwhile, ‘Ashirvada Deepam’ (Blessing Lamp) program was held at 7.00 p.m. in temples and Vinayaka Chavithi pandals to offer prayers and express gratitude for the great leader who is shaping the lives of the nation’s people.

State Secretary Sujatha Raj, State ST Morcha General Secretary Muralimohan Raju, District Media Convener Koteswara Rao, and a large number of leaders and party workers participated in the event.

The birthday of Mr Narendra Modi was also celebrated at the Visakhapatnam TDP office with MP M. Sribharat and District Election Observer Mohammed Ahmed Shareef jointly cutting a cake.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that Narendra Modi’s commitment to public service, discipline, dedication and relentless hard work continues to inspire people across the country. He said that Mr Modi’s long journey in public life, including serving as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for three consecutive terms and as the Prime Minister of India for three consecutive terms, reflects his commitment to serving the people.

Sribharat said that the Prime Minister’s disciplined lifestyle, emphasis on yoga and focus on health and fitness have contributed to his ability to maintain a demanding schedule. His ability to work with sustained focus and dedication towards the development of the country serves as an inspiration, particularly for the youth, he added.

He highlighted the importance of the Centre’s support for Visakhapatnam and various infrastructure initiatives, stating that such investments are important for the state’s long-term growth and development.

He said the Centre’s support for major infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh, including the Bhogapuram International Airport, would contribute to strengthening connectivity and creating an environment conducive to economic growth.
