To mark the completion of 25 years of governance by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha under the leadership of the party’s district president M.N.M. Parasurama Raju organised a ‘Seva Jyothi’ rally. The event began with a visit to the South Coast Railway Zone construction site, followed by the viewing of Prime Minister Modi’s address, in Arilova Thotagaruvu.
State BJP president P.V.N. Madhav participated in the program as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said October 7, 2001 marks the day Mr. Narendra Modi took oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat. He paved the way for numerous remarkable transformations across the nation over the past 25 years. It is a matter of great pride that the BJP has emerged as the world’s largest political party and the nation’s global stature has risen significantly under the leadership of Narendra Modi, he said.
“It is a source of immense joy that the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone, a long-cherished dream of the people of North Andhra for over three decades, has become a reality as the South Coast Railway Zone, headquartered in Visakhapatnam,” Mr Madhav said.
The BJP state chief said realising the railway zone, which was once considered impossible, stands as a testament to Mr. Modi’s leadership. This initiative will boost railway development and create more employment opportunities in Visakhapatnam, North Andhra, and the entire State of Andhra Pradesh.
Facilities such as the railway zone headquarters, staff quarters, and a railway club will soon be ready for use, he said and added the party is organising various programs under the BJP’s banner to mark Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey of public service.
Those who participated include State Treasurer M. Nagendra, State Spokesperson Suhasini Anand, and party activists.
