Congress leader and Telangana Fisheries Corporation former chairman Mettu Sai Kumar alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leadership had assigned its followers the task of maligning Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy through social media campaigns.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, he dubbed the BRS the ‘Bhajana Rashtra Samithi’ and alleged that its cadre had been instructed to praise party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao for two days and working president K.T. Rama Rao for another two days.
Mr. Sai Kumar alleged that the cadre was being paid for criticising Mr. Revanth Reddy and targeting the Congress. He accused the BRS leadership of assigning a special task to its cadre to spread misinformation about the Chief Minister. He said Mr. Revanth Reddy would not be deterred by the allegations against him and asserted that the Chief Minister was turning every criticism into an opportunity to strengthen himself politically.
