
The Chennai Vision Charitable Trust inaugurated the “Nethra Seva Block” which will cater for the underprivileged to address their various vision problems.

The “New Nethra Seva Block”, the Charity Wing of Chennai Vision Charitable Trust and Rajan Eye Care Hospital, was inaugurated on Wednesday in the presence of D. Devendran, District Governor, Rotary International District 3233 and K.S. Manian, Chairman Emeritus, NAPC Ltd.
Mohan Rajan, chairman and medical director, Rajan Eye Care Hospital, said the block is dedicated to the poor and will provide free eye care services. All services starting from comprehensive eye examination, glaucoma evaluation, cornea and retina services to opticals and pharmacy will be available. The clinic will function from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day, he said.
