Chittoor DRO stresses need to protect youth from drug menace

Chittoor district administration has stepped up efforts to curb drug abuse, with officials calling for a coordinated action plan among the line departments to make the district drug-free.

District Revenue Officer K. Mohan Kumar, on Thursday, chaired a meeting of the district-level Narcotics Coordination Centre (NCORD) committee at the Collectorate here. He underlined the need to protect youth and students from falling prey to drugs.
