Over 200 members of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) were arrested in the city on Tuesday after they indulged in a picketing agitation near the Teppakulam post office demanding the withdrawal of the four Labour Codes implemented by the Centre.
The CITU members assembled near Singarathope and came in a procession and staged a picketing agitation when they were held. They were later released, said police sources.
