The 8th annual music festival conducted by ‘Raga Rasagnya’ came to a grand close at the TTD’s Annamacharya Kalamandiram, here on Sunday. The five-day music programme provided a platform for veteran, as well as upcoming artistes, to showcase their talent in classical vocal and diverse instruments like mridangam, kanjira, ghatam and violin.

Renowned artiste-duo ‘Mysore Brothers’ (Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath) performed the launching concert on the first day, followed by Manda Sudha Rani (Visakhapatnam), Manda Anantha Krishna (Tirupati), Kruthi Vittal and Kunnakudi Balamuralikrishna (both from Chennai) on the other days.

The event turned out to be a festival for classical music lovers of Tirupati as well as the hundreds of students undergoing music and dance training at the various institutions in the city.
