Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will take part in the State government’s flagship programme – ‘Swachch Andhra – Swarna Andhra’ at the Beach Road in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. As part of the programme, he will take part in a cleanliness programme and also interact with the sanitation staff.
Traffic curbs
Visakhapatnam traffic police on Friday issued an advisory chalking out the traffic restrictions in and around Andhra University expecting thousands of attendees at the venue for the title deeds distribution programme. The traffic restriction would be in place from 6 a.m. on Saturday to facilitate smoother traffic flow through Visakhapatnam.
The police stated in the advisory that heavy vehicles travelling from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram to Anakapalli via Visakhapatnam will be diverted to Andapuram, Pendurthi and Sabbavaram from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m, while heavy vehicles travelling from Anakapalli towards Srikakulam and Vizianagaram will be diverted to Lankelapalem, Sabbavaram, Pendurthi and Anandapuram during the same period.
Meanwhile, the police have issued routes to buses and vehicles ferrying beneficiaries from various localities between Gajuwaka to Bheemili.
