Collector calls for swift construction of irrigation canals in Udayagiri

SPSR Nellore District Collector Himanshu Shukla directed the officials of Rural Water Supply (RWS) Department to focus on the construction of irrigation canals in Udayagiri and complete the land acquisition process for the same without any delay in providing the administrative permissions.

The Collector, along with MLA Kakarla Suresh, conducted a review meeting as part of ‘Palle Veekshana’ programme with officials from various departments at Mandal Parishad Office in Appasamudram village of Udayagiri mandal. He assured that the micro irrigation project will be sanctioned and subsidy will be provided for the farmers who apply for it.
