District Collector Nishanth Kumar on Sunday (April 26, 2026) directed the field officers of the Marketing Department and the committees at agriculture markets to tighten measures to ensure that tomato farmers are not exploited.
The move comes after the farmers approached the Collector seeking transparency in key market yards.
