A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Shrimati Indira Gandhi College and National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) on Wednesday.
The MoU is aimed at promoting and strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing skill development and improving job prospects for students. It was exchanged between college chief executive officer K. Chandrasekharan and Udaya Sankar, director, NASSCOM, and co-founder, Maatram Foundation.
In his address, Mr. Sankar highlighted the significance of women’s empowerment and motivated students to equip themselves with 21st-century skills, said a press release from the college.
