Commercial LPG price hike is a blow to restaurants, say star hotel owners in A.P.

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Star Hotels Association (ASHA) on Friday expressed concern over the hike in the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹993.

In a statement, ASHA State president R. V. Swamy pointed out that effective from May 1, the price per cylinder had surged by ₹993, delivering a severe blow to the hotel and restaurant industry. With this hike, he said, the price of a commercial cylinder had reached approximately ₹3,315 in cities such as Hyderabad.
