CUK Kalaburagi appeals to degree students to take CUET

The Central University of Karnataka at Kalaburagi has appealed to students in the final year of their degree to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (PG)-2026) for admission to postgraduate courses in central universities.

T.G. Naveen Kumar, assistant professor of MBA programme in the university, at a press conference in Shivamogga on December 23, said that applications for CUET were available online and students can access them at www.nta.ac.in

The last date to submit the online application is January 15, 2026. Candidates will get time till January 18, 2026, to correct the particulars in the online application form. The exam will be held in March. “The students in either the fifth or the sixth semester of the undergraduate course can take the entrance test,” he said.

The CUK at Kalaburagi has 11 postgraduate departments and offers 35 courses. “This is the only Central university in Karnataka, and students should make use of the facility to pursue higher studies. We have a campus spread over 645 acres with all facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a library and hostel facilities. The students get scholarships to support their studies,” said Mr. Kumar.

Further, he said the university also offers undergraduate courses. The students can apply for undergraduate courses after second PUC or an equivalent course, he added.
