DMK, allies stage demonstration in southern districts over LPG shortage issue

Members of the Secular Progressive Alliance led by DMK staged demonstrations in Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari and Tenkasi districts on Sunday.

The State-wide demonstrations were organised against the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre for allegedly withholding funds to Tamil Nadu under various schemes and its failure to take measures anticipating shortage of LPG cylinders.
