Five general observers appointed to oversee elections in Coimbatore

Five general observers have been appointed to oversee election work in Coimbatore district. As per the Election Commission’s directions, they will stay in the district from March 18 to May 4 and monitor poll-related activities across constituencies.

All five observers are officers of the Indian Administrative Service. Sunil Kumar Yadav has been assigned to Mettupalayam and Kavundampalayam constituencies, Krishna Aditya will oversee Sulur and Singanallur, Sanjay Kumar has been appointed for Coimbatore North and Coimbatore South, Pranjal Yadav for Thondamuthur and Kinathukadavu, and Yashindra Singh for Pollachi and Valparai.
