Fourteen injured in bee attack near Natham

Fourteen people, including students and a teacher of a government school, were injured after they were stung by a swarm of bees at Komanampatti in Natham, on Friday.

As the students and teachers of the government high school were leaving for home after school hours, they were stung by bees. Fourteen people were injured in the bee attack.

The injured have been identified as Social Science teacher Shanthi and students Perumal, Sridhar, Yuvaraj, Praveen, Rajalakshmi, Harshini, Sandhya, Swathi, Dharshana, Karthika, Banu, Prabha and Sandhya. The injured were rushed to Natham Government Hospital for treatment.
