Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of the erstwhile royal family of Mysuru at the launch of the fourth volume of the book series Raja Ravi Varma: An Everlasting Imprint – The Epics Imagined authored by Ganesh V. Shivaswamy, at a function organised by His Highness Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation at Mysuru palace on Saturday.

The fourth volume of the book series Raja Ravi Varma: An Everlasting Imprint – The Epics Imagined, authored by Ganesh V. Shivaswamy, was released in Mysuru on January 31.
The book was released by Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family at a function organised by the H.H. Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation at Chandrashaale Thotti Sabhangana in the Mysuru Palace premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Wadiyar said that the book was released at the Chandrashaale Thotti, which has been renovated. She noted that the auditorium was being formally inaugurated through the release of the book and would be used for similar literary events in the future.
Shivaswamy gave an overview of the book that focuses on the paintings of legendary artist Raja Ravi Varma. He said the painting of Draupadi by Raja Ravi Varma is currently on display at the Jaganmohan Palace in Mysuru.
Several art lovers and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The book release event was followed by a concert by Vidwan Smruthi Bhaskar and team.
