The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) has flagged a lack of funds for undertaking a wide-ranging set of road and infrastructure works across its jurisdiction, even as it approved a proposal seeking ₹20 crore in external assistance to carry out the projects.
The issue was discussed at the Board’s meeting held on March 28, where a comprehensive plan covering road repairs, drainage, and public amenities across eight wards was placed for approval. The total estimated cost of the proposed works stands at ₹20.15 crore.
