Final location survey to double the Irugur-Podanur rail line for 10.77 km has been listed by the Railways for execution by Southern Railway during 2026-27.
A sum of ₹22 lakh has been earmarked for the survey. The amount sanctioned for the survey finds a place in the ‘Consolidated Budget Statement’ of the Southern Railway.
