After scrutinising CCTV camera footage, the police searched a house on Mosque Street in Guduvancheri, and found human remains inside a large vessel used for preparing biryani.
The victim was identified as Hayathun Nisha, 38, a native of Odisha.
Following the investigation, the police arrested Laskar and Majhi on charges of murdering and dismembering the body of the victim.
