Govt. doctors association seek CM’s intervention in appointing DME

The Democratic Tamil Nadu Government Doctors’ Association has sought the intervention of the Chief Minister and Health Minister in the appointment of a new Director of Medical Education (DME).

In a letter to the Chief Minister, the association alleged that there could be attempts to bypass the existing guidelines for eligibility. It appealed to the Chief Minister and Health Minister for immediate intervention to ensure genuineness in the appointment of DME and to follow the existing selection system in a fair manner.
