A Head Constable attached to Palaviduthi police station, who was arrested in connection with a murder case by Vadamadurai police in Dindigul district, has been placed under suspension.
S. Ponraj, 42, of West Kuzhipatti in Dindigul district, was charged with concealing a weapon used for a murder. He was arrested and remanded in a judicial custody. Following this, D.N. Harikiran, Superintendent of Police, Karur, placed Ponraj under suspension on Tuesday.
