Andhra Pradesh recorded the season’s highest temperature of 46.2°C at Gudur in Nellore district on Sunday, even as the State continued to witness contrasting weather conditions, said A.P. State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) Managing Director Prakhar Jain.

While several regions are reeling under intense heat, others are experiencing thunderstorms and rainfall, he noted.
