Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has launched a real-time lost and found tracking and communication platform to help passengers report, track and recover belongings misplaced at the airport.
Launched on Monday, the digital platform brings lost-item reporting, request tracking and communication with the airport’s Lost and Found team under a single interface. Passengers can monitor the status of their requests in real time and receive updates throughout the recovery process.
To raise a request, passengers must visit the Hyderabad Airport Lost and Found portal and provide their contact details, category of the lost item, its description, and information about when and where it was misplaced. They can also upload a photograph of the item, if available, to aid identification.
Once the request is submitted, passengers receive a unique reference ID by email, which can be used to track its progress online. The platform also allows them to view request details and securely communicate with the Lost and Found team if further verification is required. Updates are provided until the item is identified, verified and returned.
