South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that the inaugural run of Train No. 06308 Thiruvananthapuram North-Cherlapalli Amrit Bharat Special will run on Friday (January 23, 2026) as a precursor to the introduction of the weekly Train No. 17041-17042 Cherlapalli-Thiruvananthapuram North Amrit Bharat Express — the timings of which will be notified separately, as per a press release on Wednesday.
