The newly constructed ‘Trishul with Damru’ (Trident with a divine drum) monument at Kailasagiri will be inaugurated on Saturday (May 9) at 8 a.m., said an official release on Tuesday.
VMRDA chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal and Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharat, inspected the ongoing works of the monument on Tuesday, and announced the inaugural date. The chairman stated that this new landmark is part of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s broader vision to transform the city’s tourism landscape.
