Indian knowledge systems needs protection, preservation, says NSU Vice Chancellor

National Sanskrit University (NSU) Vice Chancellor G.S.R. Krishna Murthy said that the ancient Indian knowledge system needs protection and preservation for the benefit of future generations of the country.

He released the book ‘Foundation of Indian Knowledge System: Political, Economic Strategic Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences’ written by Hanumanthu Lajapathirai, former Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University and Director of Valmiki Research Centre of Ramanarayanam temple in Vizianagaram.

In a note released on Sunday (December 28, 2025), Dr. Krishna Murthy said that modern science would benefit from ancient wisdom, as reflected in books written by individuals with a national perspective. Dr. Lajapathirai thanked Dr. Krishna Murthy for promoting Indian culture, tradition, and heritage.
