Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Sharanaprakash Patil announced in the Legislative Council on Tuesday that an International Job Fair would be held in February/March next year (2026).
Replying to the issue raised by Bharati Shetty on Tuesday, Dr. Sharanprakash Patil elaborated on how the government was preparing the ground for the international job fair including conducting road shows in varous countries.
Dr. Patil said that through Industry Linkage Cell (ILC), the government had changed the training pattern to make the youths including ITI, Diploma and engineering and other degree holders employable in the industires.
The Minister said three skill development centres would be set up at Kalaburagi, Koppal and Mysuru to cater to the changed skill set requirements of the industry.
