The State government has appointed IPS officer Shalu as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Kalaburagi city.
A 2021-batch officer of the Karnataka cadre, Ms. Shalu earlier served as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Holenarasipur. She was promoted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Special Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
