Officials of Directorate of Investigation, Income Tax Department handing over sanitary facilities built in Rameswaram to the Municipal Administration on Tuesday.

Seven units of sanitary facilities/toilets at the Agneetheertham here has been renovated by the Directorate of Investigation, Income Tax Department (TN & Puducherry) and it was handed over to the Municipal authorities on Tuesday.
According to the officials, as a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the sanitary facilities/toilets were taken up for renovation for the use of public and pilgrims. Representing the Income Tax Department, Additional Director (Investigation Wing) S Michael Jerald handed over the keys to the Rameswaram Municipal Commissioner P. Andavan.
Deputy Director P. Raveendran, Municipal Engineer Pandeeswari, Income Tax Officer R Ramesh and officials of the Investigation Wing, Madurai participated in the event.
