It is natural meet High Command when in Delhi: Satish Jarkiholi

Minister for Public Works Satish Jarkiholi has said that it is natural for the Congress leaders to meet the high command when in Delhi, but he had no information on possibility of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister meeting those in the party high command.

Speaking to presspersons in Belagavi on Sunday, he said that he had information that both Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar had gone to participate in the campaign against ‘vote theft’ in New Delhi. “But I have no clear information on them meeting the party high command”, he said.

On MLA Iqbal Hussain’s statement on the Chief Minister’s post, Mr. Jarkiholi said that it would be apt to pose questions to the leader concerned who had made the statement. “The high command’s decision is final on the issue of leadership. You should ask them. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will consult and take a decision on the issue,” he said.
