The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand has launched a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government over alleged financial irregularities involving salary withdrawals from the treasuries of Hazaribagh and Bokaro.
The Jharkhand Finance Department, in a statement, said the alleged illegal withdrawal of over ₹15 crore had been reported from the Hazaribagh Police Department in the past eight years, whereas over ₹6 crore was withdrawn from the Bokaro Police Department between November 2023 and March 2026.
